The sign (for the event )off the motorway was put up AFTER the exit (Doh!)
The activities were´nt properly posted up, you had to ask all the time. Oh and it rained (a bit) But bloody good fun

Rubber tips and wooden swords. Some german re-enactor got a bad bruise on his head from a sword.

thanks for sharing the pictures with us.a few of my fellow friends from the reenactment group have gone to take part in the event in Kalkriese.so I was really taken aback to recognise them in some photos.I couldn't go there myself thus I'm a bit envy to see them in the action in all weathers. that rain gives the taste of authenticity to those "fights. thanks again and I'm looking forward to more picutres.
