I have just about evey (modern-era) figure set they (Pegasus) make, including Russian Sailors! Their products are pretty top-notch ( with a fair amount of multipose), and nice extras like both Wermacht and Waffen SS crews for their IG-18 ( even if shorted by 2 members)... good stuff, and I am eager to get my hands on this French set, and a reissue of Germans '39 ( the set I have is 1/76 and it is noticeable!).

Let's see if I recall the Hat sets of the Sassanids era have been at stage 3 now for what 3-4
years? ANd I picked that one cause its fresh in my mind there are other sets as well, even I who doesnt know how to sculpt could finish in that time frame PLUS I would be being Paid for it so obviously money isnt the issue or is it?

These are the WWII French from Pegasus Hobbies. I found them on "Bunker Talk" blog. He says the final color will probably be different, and there is no release date yet, but it is likely to be months...
I like the fact that you have multiple pose options, per Pegasus standard, and they include a few casualties... war by its' very nature produces casualties, and they are so rarely seen! Also, I think there could be more wounded, field medical, and support staff out there, but I am just saying...

It is good to finally see that this set will be out. Been waiting for it for so long now. When it was first announced, Caesar has not even started making the mold for its French soldiers. I only hope they don't take too long to release this. They are truly a fantastic set.

Does anyone know what has happened to Pegasus and why they are taking so long to release its beautiful sets? Are they in financial difficulties? The other stuff I am craving for are its promised Russian Mortar team (Summer and Winter Uniform). Supposedly to come out after the Russian soldiers. Aother crave would be its Polish and German Paras.

Mike "Bunkermeister" Creek has some more updates on these at his blog. Looks like us 1940 fans are getting closer to the promised land. Now all we need is for someone to do a decent set of BEF British.

Good to see them next to the Caesar set. I think they mix well.
Problem with Pegasus is control over their production lines, so it seems.
It's not a big and experienced company like Hat or Zvezda.
But they still do well.
Best thing we can do is buy their products, since the quality is good.

(I really really need those heavy Russians)

Couldnt help but see the simaliraties with the ww1 french three ups and the excellent Emhar french infantry i hope they use the same sculptor because the conversion choices may be awesome. Especially with the early ww1 french uniforms :-D, Also i absouletly love the sculpting style of pegasus , if the designer or owner of pegasus is reading this i would certainly like to see the webpage that they used to use with have the masters and updates up and rolling again.
